Eduard Hrmushyan

Eduard Hrmushyan is an acclaimed classical guitarist from Armenia, celebrated for his virtuosic technique and profound musical expression. With a Bachelor's degree in Performing Arts from the Yerevan State Conservatory after Komitas, Eduard has established a strong foundation for his distinguished career in classical music. His passion for the guitar and unwavering dedication to his craft have propelled him onto the international stage, where he continues to captivate audiences with his expressive performances and technical brilliance.

Eduard pursued his Master of Music degree at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, studying under the esteemed Professor David Tanenbaum. Since 2013, he has participated in numerous prestigious international guitar competitions, earning accolades and recognition for his exceptional performances. Notably, in 2021, Eduard was awarded 1st prize at the Tbilisi International Guitar Competition, solidifying his reputation as a rising star in the classical guitar world. That same year, he also secured 1st prize at the International Classical Guitar Competition in Mottola, Italy, and participated in the Montenegro International Guitar Competition, further showcasing his versatility and excellence.

In addition to his competition successes, Eduard has been invited to perform as a soloist at several renowned international festivals. In May 2021, he performed at the Guitar World Festival in Kaluga, Russia, and was again invited to perform in May 2023, this time collaborating with the Kaluga Chamber Orchestra. His ability to engage audiences through both solo performances and orchestral collaborations highlights his versatility and artistry as a musician.

In 2022, Eduard had the distinct privilege of performing his own arrangements for guitar and orchestra of Antonio Vivaldi’s Violin Concerto with the Tbilisi Chamber Orchestra, further demonstrating his creativity and exceptional musicianship.
